Writing Where People Live

February Giveaway at Beach Reads

There's lots happening at Beach Reads. I have a giveaway every week. There are some great books up for grabs.
  • February 1-6: The Five Love Languages of Children and The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman.
  • February 8-13: The Marriage Wish. It’s one of the first books by Dee Henderson. It’s not suspense, but a romance.
  • February 15-20: Billy by William Paul McKay & Ken Abraham This is the story of the young life of Billy Graham.
The featured author is Marty Norman, and her book Generation G. It's an interesting take on 21st century grandmothering. Drawing for this book will be February 26. Leave a comment on every post about Marty this month to increase your chances of winning.

February 4-27 I have a special contest. I'm giving away Sally Stuarts Christian Writers' Guide for 2008. This copy was never used last year. To win, tell me in 200 words or less, how you would utilize this resource. Email your entry to rclark [dot] writer [at] live [dot] com. Every Wednesday at Beach Reads, I’ll be posting the best entry (or entries) of that week anonymously. From those finalists, I’ll have an outside panel vote on the submissions. They will be looking at how well the submissions are written, including grammar and spelling. Be sure to include your contact information, or your entry will be disqualified. The winner will be announced February 28 in the Contest Alert section of Beach Reads.

C-ya on the beach,
Rhonda

Hi folks, thanks so much for dropping by.

I'm an ordinary woman living an ordinary life who's been blessed by God with the ability to write. My calling is to be God's typist. He uses my fingers to reach out to you with His truths, love, and mercy.

He uses me to reach others in many ways.
  • Through inspirational short articles based on Biblical truths
  • Devotionals
  • Modern day parables
  • Reviewing Christian books of fiction and non-fiction on my Beach Reads Blog
  • Introducing wonderful new writers through my Featured Author section on my blog
  • Writing fictional short stories and novels that not only entertain, but fill my readers with hope for their own situations
  • Associate myself with wonderful websites like, The Christian Pulse, Faithwriters & Christian Women Take Root, just to name a few
Those are just the professional ways He uses me. Other ways I impact the world:
  • Being a wife who honors her husband through Christ
  • Being a stay-at-home mom
  • Cheering my kids on at soccer and basketball
  • Working with my church to minister to others
That's really all there is to my ministry. I do have some awesome things in the works, so be sure to check back soon, or add yourself to my mailing list. I send out updates quite often.

Again, thanks for stopping by. You can contact me here

May God bless and keep you.
